Blair Witch Project!
It's one of those movies which make you start believing that what's going on in the movie is real and did happen to someone, which makes it quite scary.

Re: Best Horror Movie
Is it only me who felt that this scene from Ring was kinda copied in The Grudge thinking I at least felt that ![]()
Re: Best Horror Movie
Unfortunately I didnt find the Exorcist scary at all...it was a good story and thats about it...there wasnt one scene which scared me...
But yeh i liked the Ring...that 'well' stuff was spooky...
Re: Best Horror Movie
the best horror movie of all time is
The Exorcist (Not the beginning one that sux i mean the original one)
best way to watch that movie
11pm-1am
at least 21'' flat screen Tv
and original movie copied from HBO or full orginal DVD
otherwise it will suck
<<<thats they way i watched it
and 13 ghosts is also good one but i liked exorcist the best
The way i m telling you to watch it ... try that it will get you to jump out of your pants.
Re: Best Horror Movie
in my experience. of all the horror/part horror movies ive ever watched…the ‘big billed’ films have turned out to be more sillly/bawdy comedies that scary!
psycho, the shining, Les Diaboliques, The Night of the Hunter, Exorcist, Thing, Birds etc etc etc were all Major dissapointments!
liked Shaun of the Dead thou! although it is supposed to be a comical horror flick!![]()
i find the most ‘jumpiest’ are those made by independant movie creators.
Re: Best Horror Movie
Usually movies with monsters in them are not really scary. I did find the original old Excorsist movie scary.
And when I watchted the Blair Witch Project for the first time it was pretty scary and it looked like somebody really found those videotapes. We even had people thinking here it really happened! But when I bought BWP on video and watched it again, it became less scary.
The Ring was exciting, more like a detective or something but not scary. The Ring II was even less scary. But still a good watch. I liked it.
The Grudge with Sara Michelle Gellar was not really scary either, it's worth watching though, it has great suspense in it. The Japanese or Chinese (?) version of it was aired here and really scary.
When I was little I always found Ametyville Horror (I forgot the proper title) very scary. Don't know if it would be still scary if I would watch it today.
Re: Best Horror Movie
In Bollywood:
Re: Best Horror Movie
The original Exorcist with more cut scenes (released 2002ish?)! Best horror movie of all times
Re: Best Horror Movie
I haven’t seen the grudge but my nieces watched it and that night hugged each other and slept…
…something that never happens…
