My vote goes to *The Great Gatsby, *although to be fair F. Scott Fitzgerald’ novel of the same name whose adaption it is is one of my favorite books, and I haven’t yet seen most of the recently released movies that are creating the Oscar buzz. While not critically acclaimed, The Great Gatsby did justice to some of the greatness of Gatsby. At least the first two-third of the movie did, though the scene in which Tom tries to confront Jay was excellent too.
Even the soundtrack of the movie is very good, with my favorites being the hauntingly beautiful “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey, “Together,” and Beyoncé’s cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black.”
<3 the movie and the soundtrack!
I won't call it the best, but world war z was a good action thriller
