I have heard that the sindh club gym is really good..

talk about fishing for compliments?..........................it's not about the best gym, its about what u do in the gym that counts, u'd get better results lifting rocks in the field than going for an hour in an upmarket ('best') gym and spending most of the time working out your jaw and then relaxing in the sauna thinking u just had a good workout.
Its not about where u go but what u do when u go there.

I was asking which is the best gym in terms of being clean, having the best equipment, best trainers etc, not what is the best workout routine!

well mr 'co0olguy', just by what u call ureself and what ure asking.................i'm cool, i like going to the gym, i like to keep in shape.....anyone who can read between the lines can see what i'm saying, ure a typical self loving vain freshie.
assuming u live in karachi, why would u have to ask which gym is 'best', go and find out ureself, and if u live on one side of karachi and someone on here told u the 'best' gym was on the other side of karachi, it would be impractical to use that gym on a regular basis, so why ask?........look for a decent gym in your area yourself, i don't know what gyms in pakistan are like but in england any decent gym is more than good enough to get what u want out of it.
u seem to be the type of person who use's a gym's to socialise rather than work out, 60% of people who use gyms are people who are like u.
ure original question is only genuine if u are planning to move to karachi and the gym is very important to u................in which case i'm wrong.......but i doubt it........anyone who calls himself 'co0olguy' , to me is just another typical freshie.

Check 'Shapes' .... It is an excellent gym both for socialising and work outs! The equipment is excellent and so is the atmosphere.... pretty impressive... I know nothing about the trainers. By the way Shapes is at Cantt Station near Clifton.
Being a female I prefer the facilities at Marriott though.

There's this gym across the street from PIDC, Jehangir (i think its called). Used to be really good a few yrs back, don't know how it is now.
