Best found foundation for Asian skin?

what foundation do you guys use or would recommend? I always have an issue finding a shade that matches my skin tone exactly…

there can't be one best one for all, it depends on yr skin-tone and texture. i tried chanel,mac and the tv stick one but only chanel suited me.

I use the Vitalumiere Aqua one. I just recenty tried their latest; Perfection Lumiere, and it was nice too but i would stick with VA.

MAC i find too heavy but i guess its ok for people wanting more coverage :bummer:.

OK how much does that cost you? And does the shade match with your skin tone exactly? I always seem to have this issue with shades, the beauticians at the counter always seem to give me a shade too dark, looks fine there but when I come home it looks too dark!! Have you ever had this problem?

The foundation is KD16/17 or maybe 19, not sure! Well the shade matched me fine but in winters it got a bit dark for me but its not the foundations fault but my skin's :D so yah. They do have all sorts of lightings available at their counter to make sure yr foundation is a good match.

FarhaK I have the same problem, I don't know if it the lighting there or something. Now I always get them to try one shade lighter on me before buying.

Yeh possibly could be the lighting, or I reckon one reason could be because these days most gori's prefer the tan look and want a shade or 2 darker hence this is what has become the norm and the workers at the counter automatically presume we want the same...

I tried Christian Dior's tinted moisturiser today and i loved it, too bad even their lighted shade was a bit dark for me so i couldnt buy it. But i would highly recommend it.

MAC has a good selection for skin with yellow undertones (ie. most desi skin).

But if MAC breaks you out......NARS and Make-up Forever are 2 other brands with good choices. Revlon Colorstay gets good reviews too (my mom uses this and loves it).

I don't hear many guppans talking about Bobbi Brown. They seem to have a nice shade selection for Asian skins - any reviews?

Every time - the MUAs insist that it goes perfectly. I come out and my bf tells my I look a little dirty and to go wash my face :halo:

Dior’s Diorskin Nude…I use Sand. My skin tone is quite close to Kim Kradashian’s skin colour…I consider it medium skin tone.
