What are the best facial masks you have tried? They can be store bought or homemade. Please include the effect of the mask, such as pore refining, good for oily skin, etc. TIA!
Re: Best face masks
Yogurt, gram flour (besan), turmeric (haldi), and lemon juice mask! Add a little bit of each, the result will be a yellow paste. Apply it all over the face for 30 mins until it hardens then wash it off. It instantly makes your face feel so smooth. If done regularly, it's supposed to make your skin smoother and reduce the appearance of blemishes.
Re: Best face masks

Re: Best face masks
Aztec Indian Healing Clay. The packaging says it's the world's most powerful facial. And it is pretty strong. You'll feel your skin pulsate a bit and will be red after you've washed...or rather scoured it off...but it's refreshing.
Re: Best face masks
I have been reading the review of that clay mask but seriously what does it do apart from softening /tightening the skin? If it really changes the skin then i might give it a go lol

I use various products/treatments...so it's hard for me to tell if one product stands out more than another. With masks it's harder to tell because I use them once a month...and not as often as my other products which contain AHAs and are very exfoliating.
If what you're currently using is working for you, then don't buy it. If you want variety in masks..then consider getting it. It's only about 7 bucks. I feel that it provides more circulation than other masks because you can feel your skin pulsating.
Re: Best face masks
Olive oil, honey and milk - for acne. Recently started using that and its quite effective. Got that from a youtube channel.

Re: Best face masks
Where do you buy it at Paheli?
Re: Best face masks
Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask is always a winner.
Aztec Healing Clay is actually a really interesting mask because its supposed to literally suck the impurities out of your skin. Your face will tighten like no other mask you've tried before and skin will be squeaky clean.
Re: Best face masks
Mint Julep (not very regularly though).
Where did you buy this Aztec mask RV?

I buy the Queen Helene Mint Julep at Walgreens.I have seen it at CVS too.
I really like that stuff.
Something else I really like is Hesh Herbal Multani Mati Mud Clay Pack Mask Cleansing Soft Clear Face 100g | eBay.
I LOVE this stuff and for me,there are not a lot of things which make me notice a very clean skin after just one use. This one totally does the trick. It does dry out the skin and can cause itching but its nothing a lil moisturizer later on can’t fix.I get this at Indian grocery stores and I think it is just $2 or $3.

glamglow- all 3 of their masks are ahmaazing
amen to that!
Re: Best face masks
The GlamGlow range is amazing. From the GlamGlow range, I quite like:
- GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
- GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment
- GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
For homemade masks, I've found that a paste of gram flour (besan) and cucumber juice helps reduce blemishes and tighten pores a bit. I usually place a peeled cucumber in the juicer (a blender would work as well) and combine the juice with gram flour until it forms a paste. I apply the paste to my face and allow it to dry and then wash it off.
Re: Best face masks
I agree with Glamglow. I use the black one and it got rid of my blackheads :)
Re: Best face masks
Oh my gosh, the price on those! I really wanted to try them, but now I'm hesitant to dish out that $$$
