Best Fabric for UK winters?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what fabric is nice and thick and soft and best for UK winters, that wont get ruined in the wash?
I’ve ordered marina and linens from pakistan but they seem to be really thin. Unless there is a certain type of marina or linen i should ask for?
Please advice?

hi dear ...i have been to uk in winters n in my opinion khaddar is suitable for uk winters....

I use linen , khadder and pashmina for winters but nothing is warm enough for outdoors. You need woolen coat, hat, gloves and still you are freezing cold in proper winters. U can team your shirts with knitted tights to keep warm.

use khaddar...its best in winters...

dear yes its not very soft..but gul ahmed n alkaram khaddar is very comfortable..you can try that

Pashmina , linen and khaddar too but I agree its not a soft/flowy type fabric but kindda stiffy one..not my fav...

Gulahmed's cashmere digital is twill viscose , i found it soft and warm as well for winters .

I have used Bareeze cotton karan-di for almost 10 years especially for Winters in Denmark
and i keep buying it Bc it has Nic Fall not stiff
very comfortable and Warming even If you go out
