Best excersize lose rapid weight and inches??

One of the expert on this board stated there are so many excersizes which can rapidly lose weight and inches.
Can anone plz tell any of the best excersize which burns twice Calories for losing inches with a diet plan…???

Rope Jumping, Fast Jogging (at speed of 8-10 km/hr), High step Aerobics, Running etc., if done continuosly for half an hour can burn upto 300 calories. Diet plan for quick weight loss means sacrifice, sacrifice of food. For instant results, you are follow "the diet of aboriginals" i.e eat enough to live thats it. Dont eat to fill your heart and tummy, eat so that you may just servive. I had mentioned the diet plan in some of the forum earlier too, please note it again :

Breakfast - 1 brown bread + 1 cup of tea/coffee made of less sugar and non-fat milk

Lunch - Just before the meal take a glass of water. 1 roti / half plate rice with your favourate dal/cereal, 1 fruit.

Evening - A small cup of tea with less sugar and non-fat milk

Dinner - Just before the meal take a glass of water. 1 roti / half plate rice with your favourate dal/cereal

-----For best results, dinner should be taken at 8-9 PM, better if more earlier.

2 roti a day is too much i think...u have to cut it dn to one to reduce weight..

Anyways the diet WIPER described is a good backbone but not good enough. Add more fruit and yogurt and vegetables to that diet in between or after meals.

Also someones said 2 roti's is too much, well the diet given by wiper includes two roti's and 1 slice of bread which is 5 servings of grain products and for our age group its recommended to eat 6-7 servings. I understand OP is trying to loose weight so i would recommend at least 3-4 servings so you eat enough carbs so body doesn't rely on muscle (protein) for energy.

Have you done work out before. If yes what kind? Tell us about your work out experience and about your fitness level.

canadiangirl - Your concern about muscle loss is right. Our body uses energy first from carb reserves, when it becomes empty then from fat reserves and when fat reserves becomes too less then from protein reserves. If you want to lose wight 'rapidly' as she (happysoul) mentioned then you'll have to follow a little harsh diet plan and you wont loose much of muslce by following the mentioned diet plan but some of the muscle loss along with fat loss is very obvious and is not a point to worry at all.

happysoul - See, the diet plan mentioned doesnt require you to do a lot of physical activities apart from the cardios. If you are into some physical activities then you must include a serving of kheer/oats/daliya etc in your diet plan every second day.

I am not sure when do you get up but your should get up by the mentioned order :

6.30 AM - Get up and get fresh
7.00 - 7.30 AM - Exersice
7.30 - 8.00 AM - Bath, dress up etc.
8.00 AM - Breakfast
8.30 - 1.00 PM - daily chorus
1.00 - 1.30 - Lunch
1.30 - 4.00 - daily chorus
4.00 - Evening tea with light snacks (take snacks only if you feel hungry)
4.00 - 6.00 - daily chorus
7.00 - 8.00 - Dinner
Before 10.00 PM - Sleep

Hope it suits you, remember :
- You may feel uneasy in the beggining due to sudden drop in food intake, be mentaly ready so that you may not get sick.
- Maintain proper intake of water everyday(atleast 5 glasses of 250 ml), even in winters.

I understand what you are saying WIPER about harsh diet plan and I agree but my only concern was that in the diet you said to follow it has mostly grains/cereals and i think 1 fruit which means it is lacking in other nutrients so i'd substitute some of the roti/chawal for more fruits and vegetables

O the bolded part, the body will not run out of fat reserves (we have way too much). People who die of hunger die not due to use of all the fat stores but instead due to the loss of essential protein structures.

As far as the type of exercise from what I've learnt one should do cardio but also strength training which increases the amount of fat stored and burnt by the muscle (instead of storing in adipose tissue and not burning it).

Rightly put up, agreed you can add some vegitables in your meal, better to add raw salads.

In case of hunger, we die not because of loss of protein or energy, we die because of failure of organs which happens due to lack of blood.

You are right canadiangirl but this case is more applicable for obese people or people who wish to lose a large quantity of weight from their current scenerio. For people who are just overweight by 10-20lbs, Cardios done with good intensity and consistancy along with disciplined diet plan is enough to bring out good results.

I think i've derailed the tread enough but just out of curiosity WIPER where did you acquire all this knowledge form, I mean what is your profession?

ps thanks for the correction although one of profs said that maybe to emphasize the fact that we have large amount of fat stores

Canadiangirl you havent derail the topic, all the things we had discussed will be a lot helpful to happysoul. I am a personal trainer and fitness expert.

Your prof is absolutely right, as an average women have 24-26% fat and men have 21-22% fat. Women naturally have more fat percentage than men. We have large reserves of fats thats why its said we can live weeks without food but not even 72 hours without water.

it is not good to exercise before you eat as you need the glucose to exercise. so eat about an hour before exercise and the best exercise is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. i have been doing it for 8 days and although i have not lost any weight i have already lost an inch from my waist and belly.

an easier thing to do foodwise is with lean meats, vegetables with low glycemic index, get some monounsaturated fatty acids from specficic oils, oils, nuts, olives etc, and whole grains. limit simple carbs and sugars. and sensible portions are important.

make breakfast your biggest meal..or try and keep dinner lighter, have healthy snacks, and work out, resistance training and aerobic. pick an activity which you like, e.g. I would rather play tennis or racquetball for an hour than be on a treadmill for 20 mins.
