Best desi cooking/craft/household show?

We just got the basic desi tv show package with geo, ary, star plus, sony and ztv.

I would love to find a few good cooking and/or home “marth stewart/rachel ray” type shows…

any suggestions?

Bachelor Bawarchi on GEO, i've never tried his recipes tho.

bachelor bawarchi seems like fun but the lady in marina khan's morning show does a good job too. Samina is it?

i like KHANA KHZANA which comes on Zee tv on sundays at 2:30 ET...the recipes are simple to make and follow yet very delicious..The chef Sanjeev Kapoor himself is very credible and his show has been on zee for more than 10 years now...

I like Samina on ARY–I’ve tried some of her recipes over the past few months and they’ve been decent. During Ramzan, I think it was ARY that had Iftar Mazedar with a lady named Zubaida apa (she used to host Kitchen Corner…what happened to that?!) and her recipes were great. Easy to follow and a good variety of dishes, everything from mooli parathay to chicken chow mein. Miss her :teary1:

well,masala channel is very nice,its a food channel but its only for pakistan n i think middle east.

Samina on ARY she is pretty good, i have tried her recipe many times. Besides her FoodHI Food on ARY that guy is also very good, he has variety of grilled and chinese recipe.

HELLO there i like saminas cooking i tried chicken 65 it was very yummy and also i made the steam fish for the daibetic i will be so grate full if i can have saminas recipes all of them as i have missed so many as i am from kenya -mombasa the coast and as we have light problems so please thanks

yeah rahats kitchen on hum tv is the best one. she gives really authentic recipees. it also repeats on masala tv.

can somebody tell me the timings of Samina's show on ARY. I am living in UAE.
By the way, there is 1 more show on Indus Vision "Kisan Pak Raha hai Kiya". The show is hosted by a lady Abeel alongwith a cooking expert "Rida Aftab". I have tried a few recipes. They turn out so well. The only thing about the show is they take too many live calls.

Sanjeev Kumar's Khana Khazana! A very good change for those who like true desi cooking but want a change from the typical pakistani style.
