Honestly i didn’t have any serious crushes in high school. Nobody’s on my level.

Hmmm a couple of guys had crushes on me, I had a lot of other stuff going on in life at that time so I had none.

So I will tell you about the interaction with one of the guys who liked me.

I suck at cues of interest, heck with this guy I didn’t even realize he liked me until AFTER high school. He asked me out in Math class, I laughed it off thinking he was joking. Then he got his friend to ask me out on his behalf, I laughed it off again so he avoided me from then on to the point that when we ended up taking the same class at a JC during summer before university, he became visibly uncomfortable and promptly dropped it. I am guessing he thought I humiliated him but I honestly had no such intentions. The End.

My inter college (equivalent to HS) was boys only. So all interesting things happened outside of college hours. Despite myself being mediocre in the looks department and in other key qualities needed for making great first impressions, my crushes were kind hearted girls who gave me chances after ignoring me for sometime. But I was under intense pressure to do well in school so didn’t followed through. I believed that only 2 kinds of guys pursue flings that early on in their careers:

1- Those doing well academically.
2- Those not doing well academically without a care.

Unfortunately I was one of those who struggled academically and took that very seriously.
