Ladies pls share what cleanser you have found to be the best? I would like to buy something that I can use on a daily basis. My skin is somewhat dry (thanks to heating ) and slightly oily on the T-zone and pretty much clear Alhamdulillah
Re: Best cleanser
I love Philosophy's Purity Facial Cleanser. I usually get the 6 oz. and it removes EVERYTHING. I dont know what's in it but it gets rid of all eye makeup, mascara, everything. And it doesn't dry out my skin either and I have combo skin which can get oily at times but also can be prone to dryness and flakies in the colder months.
Re: Best cleanser
M_was_here .... is it expensive... is there anyway to try out these products without shelling out some big bucks?
Re: Best cleanser
It's not expensive, about $20 for 6oz. I think Sephora has minis that they sell by the checkout.
Re: Best cleanser
Liz Earle cleanse and polish - i have really dry skin and this leaves me skin soooo soft and smooth! I also really like angels on bare skin by Lush
Re: Best cleanser
I have heard so much about angels on bare skin by LUSH. I think it might be time for me to try it out.
Re: Best cleanser
How many days do you guys 'try' out things like cleanser, shampoo before making up your minds.
Re: Best cleanser
i use the St. Ives Make-up Remover & Cleanser, for me it was like $4 and I totally trust st ives products............the price is so affordable too
Re: Best cleanser
If i use it up completely that means that i like it, angels on bare skin and liz earle cleanse and polish are my 'go to' cleansers.

Re: Best cleanser
Liz Earle cleanse and polish all the way for me!
Re: Best cleanser
I use honey as a facial cleanser.
If I'm wearing make up, then I use origins clean energy cleansing oil. It's amazing!

Really? Aw, that sucks! I love it but then again my face isn't acne-prone. What do you prefer?
Re: Best cleanser
Well I used the philosophy one for a while, but now I use one from the body shop, aloe one, and then a glycolic wash twice a week. I Loveeeeeee it
Re: Best cleanser
Ponds deep cleansing cream is really good, it removes all the facial makeup and leaves my skin SMOOTH!
Re: Best cleanser
ST Ives Apricot scrub! It's awesome! :)
Re: Best cleanser
^That scrub is not recommended by Dermatologists because granules in it are not rounded, so they literally cut the skin. It's extremely abrasive and not in a good way.
Re: Best cleanser
I've heard St. Ives Apricot scrub it not recommended for regular use, but it's what I use to take my makeup off. I've used several cleansers/soaps which were pricey and promised to take makeup off but they just didn't so I resorted to St. Ives. Since I do use this each time I need to take my foundation off, I make sure not to scrape my skin with it. I take my finger tips and massage it very gently all over my face. After washing it off I use a toner which removes the remaining traces of makeup and moisturize.
My main cleanser that I use twice a day is Murad's clarifying cleanser for acne prone skin. I've been using it regularly and alhumdulilah it's helping my skin. I break whenever I don't use it (sadly) It does dry out the skin a tad bit, so I don't recommend it for someone who already has dry skin...unless you moisturize heavily after using it.
Re: Best cleanser
i'll say go to www.beautypedia.com and read all Paula's recommendations. she recommends products according to their ingredients and all her recommendations i tried so far were good so now instead of reading ppl's reviews (as everyones experience is different) I read her reviews first. Any product with menthol, alcohol etc is always out of her list so all the cleansers she recommends are gentle, mostly water-based and non-drying
Re: Best cleanser
Personally, I would avoid harsh chemicals and choose an organic cleanser like the Melvita Make-Up Remover.
