i made a huge mistake of taking my computer to best buy when it got broken. the stupid geek squad said they have fixed it, but in reality they didn’t but charged me full.
when i figure out it wasn’t working i took my computer back to them, but they refused to look at it and acted really rude. i took my computer to a different place who told me about the fraud geek squad has done. after complaining and stuff, i got my money back. but they really didn’t’ compensate me in any way.
do you think i should contact better business buerue?
has anyone ever been thought something like that and got compensated?
they did a fraud with me, i just don’t want to leave them after getting my money back, i want to do something about it.
please someone tell me what i should really do. is contacting better business buerue about the fraud worth it, are they going to do something?

They have already given you your money back. If you want more you will have to sue them and would have to prove to the court about the kind of losses you suffered because of computer not being fixed in time.
BBB cannot make them pay more than what they have already paid you back.

Geek Sqaud and Firedog (aka Circuit City in-store Tech Support) are nothing but a way of making money off people..
I am not sure if these confessions are true but they don’t seem very far from the truth

Aah - another victim of geek squad... I think you should certainly report them to the BBB. You can't expect anything tangible in return but at least lodging a formal complaint will negatively affect their reputation and put them in some much needed bad light. Also make sure you post your experience on epinions and other comparison shopping engine sites.
For anyone looking for computer repairs, it's always better to go to your local geeks in the small stores - they're usually more honest, more knowledgeable, and usually a lot cheaper.
If you search for geek squad complaints online, you'll come across insider testimonials that speak to the type of service that geek squad provides. Overcharging customers, performing unnecessary work, forcing customers to buy specific products are just some of the things that they are known for. Apparently, the techies have to make a certain budget on a weekly basis in terms of number of repairs completed and the service charges. This culture is detrimental for the customers.
