Best Buy / futureshop

when ever i am trying to buy anything from these two places, especially bestbuy their sales rep doesn’t seem to sell anything.

if i show interest in anything they dont bother come near show anything and if i am willing to purchase they recommend me to but it someother time…hunh??? :konfused: are they scheming some hidden agenda of bankrupting these businesses??? did anyone else had the similar experience???

pathetic service! :o

ps. i had experienced their service both in Mississauga and DT branches.

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Well Zobi..sales people are always busy ya know. I personally think they are short-staff always. But i agree abou their service. Not impressed at all. I have experienced in both heartland as well as near winston churchill here in 'sauga.

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Brush your teeth before heading out to these stores. Mint gum will help too

PS:
I never had any problem at these stores. If you went there on Boxing day and was expecting attention then :smack:

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Some girls and the kind of attention they demand .../rolleyes

j/k :(

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Sales associates at Best Buy are not paid commission, so they can't care less. Future Shop however does pay commission hence the reason sales associates come flying like macchar the moment you walk in.

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Most annoying sales associates that I have come across are at THE BRICK. Itney chipkooo hotey hain k buss. You step into the store and they are on you like bees on hive. Not even letting us discuss merits/demerits of an item we are taking a look at and whats worst is that most of them are Desi so we cant even discuss with each other in urdu :)

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

ohmygod! so true about Brick!. lol

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

Last time we went to Best Buy the sales guy told my wife that and I that they were out of stock on the computer mice we wanted. We ended up finding at least 15 of them on the shelf in the mice area!

Re: Best Buy / futureshop

For some reason i've never found BRICKS (thats what desis call it) appealing enough. I'm quite content with IKEA. As for speaking Urdu, i find the best thing to do it to tell them exactly what you want and the price you want it at. Make up some ridiculous numbers and they wont be so chipku anymore. Stop being nice and be a picky shopper. If you have to discuss with the wife, make it a long long discussion, that too scares them away.
