Best and worst of Euro 2004

WE’ve seen some very good matches with some very good players. We’ve also seen some very bad players.
There are still 5 matches left in this tournament but i think we can pick our best and worst of Euro 2004

**Best team**

coach: Karel Bruckner

               Buffon

Puyol Nesta Campbell Lampard

Poborsky Zidane Nedved Robben

       Van Nistelrooij Rooney

**Worst team**

coach: Jacques Santini

               James

Gallas Couto Silvestre Lizarazu

Schneider Dacourt Baraja Pires

           Henry Raul

Lampard deserves to be there. And The best coaches were Czech coach Bruckner and greek coach Rehhegal. This guy was amazing with his switches and substitution.

I've put him at left back position :D

Does Zidane deserve to be there? Apart from that freaky three minutes against England he hasnt done much or has he?? My mind says NO.

well he scored against the Swiss as well…from the midfielders he’s the top scorer together with Lampard…and you wouldn’t disagree that it was due to him that France made it so far in the first place

but I’d like to hear/see the teams u ppl come up with :k::smiley:

How can Beckham not be in your worst team, he was truely woeful.

And how can Lampard be a left back in your good team.

Anyway heres mine

Best team

Coach Otto Rehhagel

                 Sorenson

Miguel Laursen Campbell Zambrotta

Ronaldo Nedved Lampard Robben

  Rooney Van Nistelrooy

Worst Team

Coach Jacques Santini

                    James

Ferriera Nowotny Couto Silvestre

Beckham Schnieder Figo

Totti Raul Trezeguet

Beckham worst

Zidane best

Re: Best and worst of Euro 2004

Nescio, I copied your template :-), kept some players and made some changes here and there. Infact, quite a lot.

**Best team**

coach: Karel Bruckner

               Buffon

Carvalho Nesta Dellas Cole

Ronaldo Lampard Nedved Robben

       Van Nistelrooij Baros

**Worst team**

coach: Inke Saez

               James

 Mellberg Thuram Silvestre Helguera

Schneider Pirlo Dacourt Figo

           Trezeguet Raul

Honestly, saby´s teams look much more accurate.

Nescio: Henry in the worst team? He may not have played at his best, but at least he scored twice. There have been loads of strikers, whom you would expect much more of and they have not even scored once (Del Piero for example).

Nescio

damn it.... that punk azz emile heskey deserves to be in the worst team.

that "worse of" euro 2004 should now include more dutch players after their lame performance today.

becks' for the very 1st time in his england career to date has had a truely awful major {euro 2004}, he hasn't played as badly as he did in portugal for england in the past; so that judgement of your's arvind based on a single tournament is rather weak mate.

What has he done in other tournaments?

France 98 - Dropped for the first game, done alright against Colombia then buggered it up against Argentina by getting sent off.

Euro 2000 - England were woeful, getting knocked out in the group stages, even though he done a few good crosses there wasnt much else.

Korea/Japan 2002 - He was injured, and wasnt able to do much. Done as good as could have expected but hardly set the tournament alight.

And you know about Euro 2004, so based on 4 major tournaments what do you think?

 :stuck_out_tongue:

Ps. My Best team would be alot different now, would have to throw in a greek defender or two :).
