problem is I haven't seen any but one part of a match of the benfica '61 team or any other prior to 1990 for that matter, so can't comment on that, but after 1990 here are a few of my favorites:
Barcelona 1991-92 - With Koeman, Laudrup, Stoichkov and Romario there were unbeatable
Milan 1994 - With Weah, Van Basten, Rijkaard, Maldini, Albertini and Donadoni all at their prime it was a delight to watch this team
Ajax 1995 - A young, hungry and overtly attacking team deservedly won this one
Madrid 2002 - similar to Milan 1994, this team contained the best player of the world on 6/7 positions on the field

MANCHESTER UNITED - 1968 (25/5/68)
Final score was united 4 - Benfica 1
2 goals from charlton, 1 from george best n 1 from Bryan Kiddo.
Great achievement taking into account the munich air disaster in 1958 of the busby babes where united completely lost all of their major stars who would have easily dominated the next 10/13 years
