Besan Ki Roti

I want to make some but I need a fool proof recipe as well as accompaniments.

How do you make your besan ki roti?

What do you eat it with? What does it taste the best with?

I was thinking some mint chutney with aam in it…:hayaa:

Beaan ki roti…we had onions…green chillis and red chilli flakes…and red chilli powder just a bit and thats it. Then u make it in the oven or tandoor and serve with meltes butter brushed on top and lassi and mint chutney. Delish!

Besan kii roTii [with pyaz and green chilli] goes best with lehsun dhania mirch kii chutney…:slight_smile:

Low calories?(if you do not top up with ghee or butter) good for diabetes?

for besan ki roti…
finely thin onions, lal mirch powder, nimak, may be zeera powder… some atta mix in besan …also thin sliced green chilies or some khush dhania powder

then knead it and make a roti
we apply desi ghee on the top …
eat with chutney or plain dahi or ketchup;)
yummy …our family favourite

RV…its so damn yummy…kinda spicy and pair that with some chutney…you have yourself some serious comfort food.

I sometimes eat besan ki roti just instead of regular roti when I’m trying to cut down on my wheat content. Although it does use some wheat flour it’s not as much.

sounds so delicious right now! how do you guys make it? what is the ratio of ingredients and do you use the tawa or oven?
