I never doubted for a moment that Bangladesh would beat Bermuda. Those people expecting otherwise were just hoping against hope. You have to make your own luck in this world. India and Pakistan didn't help their cause by losing matches (against minnows) they should have won easily - period. The other 6 established cricketing nations in particular Australia, NZ, SLA and SA were professional and clinical in their demolition of minnows . The matches against WI and SLA were always likely to go either way.

challo shukar ha.....dil may thand par gayee.......may be india and pak shud play against each other now....what a pity and what a world cup...and i really hope that the indian media will stop bashing pakistani team in woolmer incidence and focus on indian cricket which has quite a few problem of its own....for both Indian and pakistani team...Lot kay bodhoo ghar ko ayaeee....

So when is the Indian team going back to India? i really want to see that sight - I hope they show everything when they go back just like they were showing every single thing with weird songs when they were going to play WI.

India + Pakistan= 1,192,000,000
Remaining teams = 260,000,000
As you can see there are fewer ppl who will follow cricket.

ha ha ha...well at least i was honest in expressing my true feelings.....world cup kay sab say baray DAWAAY DARR are back home.....
on a serious note, i really really feel bad for Dravid...this guy is one of the best cricketer of our generation but more importantly, I really admire the way he carries himself....a very polished and decent personality.....i still remember the frustation he showed by hitting malinga for four boundaries in a row....he was betrayed by his team-mates who left him in the middle......anyway this world rewards DADA type people and there is no place for gentlemen like inzi and dravid....what an end to inzi and dravid's world cup careers.

I don't think we should be so India-centric or Pakistan-centric as the case maybe. We should worry more about how our own team has performed in this world cup (rather than taking comfort and delight in each other's failures) and hope that something is done to put our cricket back on track. Admittedly the format did not help either team to recover once they lost their respective matches against minnow nations but then it should n't have happened in the first place.
That said I have been hugely disappointed with the way the Indian media (esp. Zee) has been reporting the whole Woolmer affair and making fun of him (Woolmer was born in India) since the day India lost against Bangladesh and (as expected) defaming Pakistan at every opportunity. They have been spreading false rumours about rifts between Woolmer and Pakistani players. They should ask themselves a simple question, if Woolmer was so unhappy with the Pakistani team then why did he spend three years with them? Yes we all heard today that Inzi and Woolmer did n't always agree on all issues but that's quite normal (and healthy) dare I suggest.
The problem should have been in Pakistan. Pakistan was the team that was knocked out of the WC, people and media in Pakistan should have gone crazy about our early exit, but generally speaking, the nation as a whole has behaved in a mature way, every body turned his or her anger down and started mourning Bob's death.......
