The monies are subject to confiscation proceedings by the Pakistan government in the UK. If the government obtains a confiscation order (as is very likely) the monies will be reclaimed by Pakistan and available to finance new schools and hospitals.
But if Zardari comes to power, the proceedings will almost certainly be discontinued.

Yep, but when Leghari dismissed BB's govt in 1996, he alleged her and husband has siphoned of no less that $1.5 billion from the state. After 11 years on interest payments that could be more than double now.
Surely, these billions of dollars of loot were mentioned in BB's will, and that is why Zardari's has not divulged all the details.

If the will is to have any legal effect, it has to be granted probate (i.e. publicly admitted to proof in open court with the possibility of challenge) in ALL the countries where the assets are located.
You can't just have a will and divide the property yourself. The will would have appointed executors to take charge of the assets.
This means an inventory of all the assets is drawn up and available for inspection by the public.
