Well many people did not like when the government extended DST during Ramadan and afterwards till 31 October. People were very much crictical. But this DST really proved very valuable during Ramadan:
-
People started their work early as civil twilights almost started at 6.00 to 6.45 (if it was not DST it would have been 5.00 to 5.45) and most of people would have preferred to sleep instead of going to work.
-
In the evening poeple had more time to finish work and reach home easily for iftar. As a result there was no usual choas on roads during ramadan just before iftar.
