you are considered as a non resident of the UK after spending 90 days outside the country. So she can receives her benefits for up to 3 months post moving. If she still receives then after 3 months, then i would say to still mind your own business if you dont want any feud with your friend.
^ First post says that any odd thing. Nadz can tell her friend that odd item in statement and suggest her to report to relevant authority. It is not like I am asking Nadz to report it. Nadz was trusted by her friend and it was her friend asking to read mails and find odd stuff.
How sweet. Two snitches.
The things people do to feel better about themselves.
yeah, see a crime being committed and be quite, do nothing and let those criminals get away...is that what you want us to do? it's our civic duty to report such cases.
i'm sure some people will see a guy/gal with a bomb in his/her hand and will keep quite and let that guy kill hundreds...no?

perhaps the extreme example that KKF provided is laughable.....why don't you reduce it to something less evil and tell us when you think it would be important to report criminal activity......
if you dont have the balls to report this, at least be a man and ask the frand for 70% as mouth-shut fees. think of this friend as your MIL + kaamwali. wring her off all her tainted pennies and buy yourself a new face to peel or something.

Child abuse, Elder abuse, animal cruelty, stealing, drug use... if any of our friends were doing this we would talk to them or report it and not stay quiet.
Even though it doesn't effect us directly, it effects the society and we speak up. However, when someone steals from the government, we are expected to mind out own business?

I don't see child/animal abuse and terrorism (still lol) on the the same level as benefit/tax fraude.
However, that does not mean that I support it. Neither does it mean that I would do it myself. If someone close to me is guilty of it, I will talk to him/her about it. But I would not snitch on that person. Neither would it keep me awake at nights.
Now go and judge me and make all kind of weird assumptions.
First off…you were the first to judge when you called two people “snitches” in post #23](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=23) so…“Hello pot, it’s kettle calling” much?
It’s not about judging you but about getting a barometer on ethics in society. Your opinion matters :cb:…somewhat.
Some folks don’t realize that when people are allowed to get away with stealing from “the government” they are actually getting away with stealing from the public because it’s all taxpayer’s money.
In some countries where pensions and social welfare programs including healthcare are government funded, analysts have already made predictions that the current rate of consumption will leave nothing in the bank for those of us that are paying up to 45% of our earnings in taxes.
While I respect that much of the tax is used to provide services that we are consuming on a day to day basis…the fact that there will be nothing left for me to claim in pensions when I need it, is relatively disturbing. Yeah…it doesn’t keep me up at night but if there is something that can be done to reduce the leaks, I’m all for it.
All you really had to say in this thread was what you said above:
^ First post says that any odd thing. Nadz can tell her friend that odd item in statement and suggest her to report to relevant authority. It is not like I am asking Nadz to report it. Nadz was trusted by her friend and it was her friend asking to read mails and find odd stuff.
I am sorry. I read 'you need to inform her' as 'you need to report her'. My bad. I apology.
As I said before, it is wrong and I do not justify it at all.
Great....so we agree on that part.
But snitching I do nit agree upon. Especially if it's someone close to me.
So are you saying that you will not snitch on someone that is close to you...for argument's sake let's say your best friend......but you would snitch on someone that works in the mailroom of your workplace because you don't really know them? What's the reasoning behind that?
As for the snitch comment. I apologied to one person as I misread his/her comment. The other one still stands.
Let's call a spade a spade....it's not just a comment....it's an insult and you are judging and making "weird assumptions" about that member.
As for the barometer on ethics in society, wish my life was so black and white as yours.

No I did not say that I would snitch snitch on let's say a colleague. The reason I emphasized on someone close to me is because the OP is speaking of someone she knows really well.

If we are on calling a spade a spade, then I rest my case with the comment I made.

Again.....for argument's sake.....who would you snitch on?
If we are on calling a spade a spade, then I rest my case with the comment I made.
What case is it you're resting?
I didn't realize you were making one......unless you think insulting someone is making a case.
Let me help you with the logic here...
-- you judged someone and made assumptions about their opinion by calling them a snitch
-- you were called out on your comments
-- in your response to being called out you threw in "Now go and judge me and make all kind of weird assumptions." suggesting that doing so would be wrong
-- you were called out again....and reminded that you were the first to make a judgement/assumption suggesting that it's unreasonable of you to object to a wrong that you are committing yourself.
now here's where the logic goes wrong.....watch/read carefully.......
You say: "I rest my case with the comment I made."
In short.....you were not the one making the case.
On second thoughts, let's hope not.
yeah....I don't think there's much hope either....
