Benefit cosmetics

Does anyone here use benefit cosmetics?

I am thinking to buy some stuff (specifically a lipstick and the lemonaid stuff which is supposed to erase stuff around your eyes). Does their erase paste and other stuff actually work on medium-brown skin?

Re: Benefit cosmetics

erase paste is good...but they only have 3 shades. if ur medium brown then deep might work for you. i know it's called deep but it's more of a medium shade.

I only have their blush in coralista and I love it, such a gorgeous colour!

Does anyone know if there is a difference between highbeam and moonbeam once they're blended out?

Re: Benefit cosmetics

^ I really want to try those. They have really good reviews! :)

The Benetint is amazing! It gives a beautiful, natural, rosy tint to your lips and cheeks and it doesn't even look like you cheated ;)

I always pass up on buying benetint even though it sounds like the type of product I’d love. :hinna:
I definitely have to get me some!

Re: Benefit cosmetics

I use erase paste and it does work but if u set it with a concealer brush with any powder.. It will last longer. I hate benefit blushes, the color never shows up.

Moonbeam gives off a pearly glow and i think it would suit porcelein skin.. and highbeam is more on the goldish and I tink they would be more suitable for the desis.

Re: Benefit cosmetics

i adore high beam, i mix it with my foundation or just dot it over for a glowy look.

its lushhhhh

Re: Benefit cosmetics

So high beam is better for desi skin tones than moon beam? i though the otherwise and got moonbeam and so far its nothing special if worn under my foundation. I am going to try it over it and see if does anything different.

I can't live without my Dr. Feel Good balm.. for me it's the perfect primer and mattifying balm that doesn't make my skin dry nor does it make it oily. I love moonbeam OVER my foundation for occassions.. it gives just the right amount of shimmer.

The lemon-aid sounds like a miracle product for dark-circles but it does nothing for our skin-tones :(

That's the reason why I love Coralista, it's their only pigmented blush. I agree the others are too sheer.

Benefit made me break out!! and I usually don't break out. I was probably allergic to something it the makeup. My suggestion is to try it at sephora/macys and leave it on till the end of the day. If you like it and your skin doesn't react for it, the go for it

Re: Benefit cosmetics

i love their industrial strength concealer :)

Re: Benefit cosmetics

Wow, highbeam sounds amazing!!! off to the shops :D

Highbeam is more of a pinkish highlighter whereas moonbeam is more goldish yellow. I was told desis look better with moonbeam but when I tried it, I liked highbeam better- and yes, it is awesome :)

me tooo! Absolutely love it. :lifey:

Another thing that I got is their latest blush/highlighter called Sugarbomb, and that has become my new favorite (even more than Nars multiple). It provides such a subtle dewy glow, and a natural flushed look. :jano:

Re: Benefit cosmetics

i was also told moonbeam is better for my skin. but i'm not liking it that much. i might return n buy highbeam.

Re: Benefit cosmetics

I believe Benefit is over rated. I don't like high beam. My natural complexion looks fairer without it. I used That gal primer as well. It was way too mattifying.

Re: Benefit cosmetics

^highbeam is just a highlighter. not a foundation

Re: Benefit cosmetics

Mabrook, i might return it too but i have to try it one more time. I feel under the foundation, VS face illuminator gives a better "glow" than moonbeam. I need to try it on my foundation now.

Btw, i bought mine from Ulta and got the bad gal mascara as a free gift. I really like that actually. It gives me alot of length. I probably still wouldnt buy it full price though since i think most mascaras are the same. Maybelline does the same job for me that Estee Lauder does.

Sorry Ruiner, didnt mean to hijack your thread :D

Re: Benefit cosmetics

Lemonaid isn't a concelaor, its a neutraliser. If you have dark skin you apply that first and then add concealer /eyeshadow on top.
