While I dont think AQ has been left with a lot of credibility, but this is a tangible statement that he made about Benazir ordering the proliferation of nukes. This can be proven/disproven through investigations, as even though Benazir is not alive, all of her sidekicks are still there. If Benazir had ordered such a thing, surely it was not a secret between BB and AQ. More people must have been involved in it. This is an allegation of high treason, which should be investigated, either to vindicate, or implicate BB and her partners.
Not surprisingly, the media has been mum about it, other than a few bland statements by Naseerullah Babar yesterday, insulting AQ.
If someone really thinks that Dr AQ Khan was the sole person involved and no one from government/military had anything to do with is living in fool's paradise.

What a moron. He doesn't give a sh*t about the reputation of the country or the safety of its nuclear program. What is the point of his BS? Does he want to implicate Pakistan in nuclear proliferation? Does he want the west to be on our case again? How can this statement come from any reasonable person at a time when doubts are being cast on the safety of Pakistan's weapons?
He has done this perviously when he disclosed secret information to a foreign journalist. I agree with Amal on this. He should be reminded of the oath of secrecy he took, if it means anything to him. I doubt it though.
^ Oaths, of any kind, are formality now. From president to a peon, do you see anyone sticking to its oath? State secret or not everything is publishing and broadcasting material now.
