BB want a new bullet proof car! She must have many already. why she need a permit? I think ex prime ministers are allowed to have some perks anyway.
she must be asking a free import permit kind of thing. otherwise there is no ban to import or install bullet proof harness from within pakistan to a normal car.

‘Benazir may import bullet-proof vehicle’

Pakistan People’s Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto has been allowed to import a bullet-proof vehicle for travel in Pakistan, Deputy Attorney-General Rizwan A. Siddiqui informed the Sindh High Court on Friday and a division bench disposed of her petition in this regard. The DAG told the bench comprising Chief Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed and Justice Faisal Arab that authorisation to import a bullet-proof vehicle had also been issued to PPP MNA Dr Azra Fazal Pecheho and Nawabshah Nazim Faryal Talpur, sisters of former senator Asif Ali Zardari. Additional Advocate-General Qazi Khalid Ali submitted that the home department has issued permission for use of bullet-proof vehicles by the permit holders. The petition was moved by PPP Senator Farooq H. Naek as Ms Bhutto’s attorney through Advocate Adnan Karim. Mr Karim did not press the petition after the law officers’ statements and the bench disposed it of.
