Anyone ever tried or heard of Ben Nye Makeup?

Yes. You will find them in stores which sell TV and stage makeup. I have the redness colour corrector that I use on the sides of my nose.

I don't really think it's appropriate for the wedding makeup market. Their stuff will cover scars and stuff like that... but then there are probably better products aimed specifically for that like dermablend.

Someone on the eye make up thread was saying that they use Ben Nye eyeshadows, can't remeber who though. The pics they posted looked really good though

@stoppit: I am wondering if their products would be good for people who have severe acne and need that amount of coverage.

Also I have heard of their shadows before...the color and pigment is meant to be amazing since it is stage makeup.

The only issue is - ordering online. I hate ordering things online, its always a hit or miss and more so because you cannot see what you're ordering.

I was trying to see if anyone has any experience with them.

Check out the eye makeup thread, Theorist claimed to have used them for her looks. And yeh, they are pigmented.

No harm in trying it for the acne coverage. The only thing I would worry about is if it would look natural irl as well as in the photos. You might want to ask Chitra Ivan in the bazaar forum what she uses. She does an excellent job covering up acne that not only looks natural in photos but also in real life.

As for Ben Nye..you could try out the colour corrector wheel. Do you not have any stores that sell this kind of makeup? We have a few in London.

I think I found a place but its in the city.

Of course! I googled a bit but it seems like this is the only place I can find. I will probably go to the one on Fullerton since its got some good reviews. Its a drive so I will wait until this nasty weather clears up.
