Although I am not at all happy with WB’s decision to employ Ben Affleck in a role perfected by Bale. I cannot but help myself draw comparisons between how people are reacting with the casting decision now and how they reacted when Heath Ledger was cast as the iconic villain in 2008’s The Dark Knight. We all know how that turned out.

here’s hoping that this casting choice surprises us all and I am proven wrong and Affleck’s ability to portray the character.

What has already been said about Heath ledger.
And Ben affleck was nominated for a Oscar for something.. So he CAN act.
Although I do wish Bale would have just come back.

He won Oscar for screenplay and directing. Two different things than acting.

Ben Affleck is the Batman we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we’ll mock him, because he can take it. Because he’s not a Batman. He’s a silent director, a watchful award-winner. A Dark Gigli.
