belly fat after c-section

Dear frndz…I had C-section 4 months back…I dint gain weight after delivery n m normal n slim (45Kg)…but since last month im noticing abnormal belly :frowning:

wot should I do to reduce ma tummy as it looks very odd with slim body..plz help me

Re: belly fat after c-section

45 kgs? Mother of one child? Well I’d say, GAIN SOME WEIGHT! Probably the belly fat will adjust itself.

Re: belly fat after c-section

Yeah belly fat will go away with time, or my OB recommended doing stomach exercises.

by the time I lost the tummy after my first one, the next one came along

Re: belly fat after c-section

It’s not the fat that’s really a concern. After surgery your muscles have lost strength and tone. Talk to your OB about recommendations for ab exercises. But you’re only 4months PP. Give yourself a little break.

Re: belly fat after c-section

I have seen many mothers with prominent tummies …that’s y m scared :frowning: I wana control it from now

Re: belly fat after c-section

So work out!

Re: belly fat after c-section

i wanted to know the same , my baby is 11 months now and i have just started walking. So gals plz help out here!!! How did c-section moms lose weight?? am so desperate now after 11 months.

Re: belly fat after c-section

You’ve gotta work out. Walking is a great place to start but it won’t do much for the belly fat. You’ve gotta start working on your abs

Re: belly fat after c-section

Wear a compression belt like belly bandit I used it after my c section it did help to some extent but the you have to constantly wear it to see results .

Re: belly fat after c-section

^how long after c section did you put it on?

I tried to do the shred 3 months after my csection but it hurt my scar so bad that I didnt dare trying it again after about 9-10 months.. but I couldnt be consistent. So anyway, if your scar isnt hurting and you are way past your recovery time, you can try the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels.

After my second c section, I plan to try couch to 5k (Couch to 5k - C25K Running Program) after 6-8 weeks of recovery and definitely work on my diet too.. lets see how it goes but I am hopeful since it’s not too intense but will probably be helpful.

Re: belly fat after c-section

It won’t just disappear; And I am speaking from experience I have had 3 c-sections in over 4 years. I know :halo:

Walk like you have never walked before; with the baby, without the baby whatever you can. Do ab crunches for at least 30 mins daily if you can.
