Belly Dancing

So this friend of mine went to some restaurant & he saw belly dancing there & he tipped them too. I said why would you watch belly dancing, sharam karo. He goes on & says its an art we should see it & appreciate it.

What your take on this guys?

As long as it’s doing no one any harm then it’s fair play

Belly Dancing

It is quite fascinating to watch (im a girl lol) we went to a wedding in morroco and while the girls dont dress skimpy like belly dancers in restaurants or shows they can move! Theres a difference between watching and ogling

Belly Dancing

OP are you going to open seperate threads for all kinda ones like flash, pole, strip etc etc?? Just asking to know how many buckets of popcorn should I get. :chai:

Re: Belly Dancing

Hmmm I can’t believe I am saying this but I would be ok with that.

Re: Belly Dancing

Too many buckets of popcorn not good for belly.

Re: Belly Dancing

It’s okay as long as you say your Bismillah before making it rain.

Re: Belly Dancing

Oh that’s what I keep hearing in the neighborhood belly dancing joint.

Re: Belly Dancing

did he go for sheesha place ?

i dont like dancing in general. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Re: Belly Dancing

Not sure if it was a sheesha place but he went to scandinavia & he was talking about this place in Norway.

Re: Belly Dancing

Lol. People seem okay seeing belly dancing here may be I am the odd one out.

Re: Belly Dancing

There’s a restaurant here in Dubai that has belly dancing as the entertainment post dinner. It’s more like people eat and she dances. I had a company dinner there a couple of times and honestly, she doesn’t even come close to the people. I’d look at her every now and then, only because i had an amazing steak in front of me (priorities, lol). So yea, i don’t really mind. As long as she is not shimmying and flapping up in my face or asking me to join her she can do whatever she likes. lol

Re: Belly Dancing

Heard there’s plenty of shisha places on edgware road that has belly dancers, not my kinda scene though so I’ve avoided it. There was belly dancers at my cousins mehndi, the only thing I found amusing was watching the uncles drooling as if they haven’t seen a girl dance before but in general I don’t see the need for girls to shake around my table half naked while I tuck into a sharwarma.

Re: Belly Dancing

whats wrong with it? its your culture !
