Did any of you girls use a belly bandit post pregnancy?? If so what make did use and did it work???

i didn't. i spoke to my aunt who wore one very religiously afterwards and she said it didn't do much at all so i didn't bother getting one. plus i'd had a c-section so it would have been painful too.

So its doesnt work by the sounds of it, on that what to expect when your expecting forum people swear by it saying. Its really good i think its more common in USA.
Gtg its a belt that u put on after birth to get rid of the belly

one of my friends (who has kids already) gave me this http://www.maidenform.com/shapewear/styles/waistnippers/flexees-ultimate-slimmer-waistnipper-6868 and that she had used it after she had a baby to look slim!
I tried it on… big mistake!! too tight and the pointy edge was right on where the c-section sticthes were so it was super painful!
I dont recommend it but she loved it and was very happy to give me one as a post baby gift.. I dont have the heart to tell her that I dun like it

I used the Medela one ... wore it for about 4 months. It was ok. I prefer a corset/girdle. It is more secure and really squeezes the stomach back into shape.

I duno which type of belt ur referrng to but belts do work..esp after normal deliveries..as for c-sec one should use once the stitches are better..my cousin wore the belt 4days after her c-sec n by looking at her it doesnt even seem she had a c-sec or a baby even

i did- i bought the bamboo one as the regular and couture ones were too rough and NOT at all comfortable. I wore it regulary for 4-6 weeks even thru the nights. it was mostly uncomfortable as it would roll up and ride up and i got annoyed and didnt see results so i stopped using it. it also shows thru tshirts, etc so not something you can really go out with. it didnt work too well for me, but i wish i had stuck with it longer now that i have a muffin top belly :(

if u r under 25 ur tummy goes back in shape easily but if u r above then u need proper work out. the belly bandit just helps to remove fluid and toxins better post delivery but it cannot bring ur tummy back to its shape without work out.

not sure how your cousin put on a belt four days after a c-section but its extremely painful. you’ve just had major surgery, you’re bleeding like mad, your sore and tender and your insides have literally been taken out and then put back in. even going to pee is a production, so i would really, extremely, absolutely advise NO ONE to put the belt on so soon after a c-section.
remember, a** lot** of it has to do with your genes and how much weight you put on too. belts can aid your healing and help you getting back into shape, but they’re not miracle workers! the one belt i’ve heard of for c-section’s is called the c-panty - http://www.cpanty.com/ - and thats to minimise scars and hold things in place so you’re not as sore and can move slightly easier. of course everyone has a different experience, but speaking personally, i was a wreck. it took me a full 7 weeks to heal completely and i’m still sore sometimes. i would caution against rushing into something so confining.
it took you 9 months to cook the baby inside you and gain all that weight- give yourself and your body at least 9 months, if not a bit more, to get back to the way you were!
She even started exercising on the 4th day! I havent had a csec so duno much about the pain but what people say about csec i too think its too difficult to workout so soon..i duno how she managed she used to wear the belt all the time..weird!
