Belluno
My first night in Belluno, Italy; I love these streets. I feel like I’m in an old
movie with subtitles. Christina’s really nice as well. Imagine
that come half way across the world to meet someone with a good
heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Believe in yourself, never
forget.
Nov. 14, 1998.
I had a cappuccino today at a local café. There was also a market there,
an outside market, marketo. Quoi -here or La- there. Just like the ones
at home, so many people, all bundled up like little kids when you
send then off to school. I have to take some pictures of the dolomides.
Arrivederchi and bonjourno as goodbye. Bonjourno for hello as well.
Ciao Phillipo- the name of Christina’s son, a cute child
who speaks german and Italian – pretty cool. A smile is a universal
language and that’s what I use most of the day. What a wonderful place.
The beauty will give me my peace, an Italian lover or
two can’t hurt much either. Where are the gondolas? “I made it through
the wilderness, somehow I made it through” was that the song or was it
borderline or lucky star with Madonna parading on a gondola.
25000 lira= $15 and so I must go to the market looking for a deal –
Little red riding hood– ciao for now 11:15 am- 2 pm in California.
Sat. Nov. 14 @ the market café.
From chube gundh – shutup stupid to bonjourno- what a difference.
I am so happy here. I chose this to be my happiness, a new place,
new people, and a new understanding and exploration of myself.
Venice tomorrow. I can’t wait. I hope I have enough money…..aaah!
thanx tamanah...for the useful post
