I’m sure most of those residing in Canada are aware of the situation.
I’m wondering if there are any shortcuts or other methods that could be employed to get the phone connected a.s.a.p.
Bell has been nothing, but a pain and is seriously getting on my nerves.

You may get satisfaction by switching but the company will lose a dedicated user and may become bank corrupt.

Just for the sake of clarification, I was under the impression that only Bell Canada has the rights to activate the new numbers/connections in Canada. However, I was wrong. Hence, the reason why I'm switching over to another company.

oh dear, bell canada is the worse. i have my internet and my fone line with them...their real rip offs, ihad my cell with them too, but i got that changed !! ...do urself a favour and dont fall for their "specials" !

Well in terms of landline phone, Bell Canada is a lot cheaper for us than Sprint Canada.
Their DSL is great! You have no idea what a pain Rogers high-speed Internet could be. However, since Bell didn't hook up my DSL and phonline when I needed it, I ended up switching back to Rogers high speed Internet.
As for cell phones, Rogers is definitely a lot better. A little bit of anger with reason can save you money with'em. :)
