Amal,I try to put what i gained from my understanding of the wisdoms of east n west.Poetry,for me,is not merely an attrctive arrangement of words but to delve within and try to understand the world around me.
The purpose of the poetry is to make the reader pause n think.If I am successful in that,it is the reward of my poetry.

I know your poetry does not have commercial attractiveness. It may not appeal our younger lot because it tells of something else. It is not meant for everyone - just like classical music. You are not a poet from the common run. You have a class and that’s why your work is classical. You offer a certain level of depth in your poetry which is almost rare - especially on GS. darwesh is also from your class. He also sometimes write a full book in a single line. And that’s what you also do. I hope to learn this art from you guys. Let me repeat myself again, thanx for being here
**I totally agree with Amal. Brijinder your poetry has a depth and it is meaningful. You bring out the real issues and just like Amal has said earlier, it makes me stop and think too. Your words make me ponder and think about the true nature of life. Short but comprehensive... as u have said here
