But I wonder, taliban and al qaida release many videos. What islam are they following? I also await for his ruling on using computers.

He has not yet seen the snaps taken from my DSLR. Obviously, the learned guy reached the conclusion that normal snaps are not worth taking :)

I am pretty sure there is a verse in there somewhere which says DSLR are allowed....

I thought the general consensus was that drawing people, animals etc. is not really allowed as it's 'creating' but photography** is **as it's only 'capturing.' I thought the Saudi Wahhabis were bad...
