Tell your MIL or your FIL to tell him politely not to do such & such thing as you are not liking it as your hubby won't speak to him because ignoring isn't the solution always .... some people just keep on doing that constantly whether you ignore them or not ....

Stay quiet and laugh or just stay quiet n start talking to someone else avout sth off topic to ignore him completely.
