im exactly like that. my own family have never really done that kissing huggin thing and when i got married, the in-laws are so hooked up on kissin on each cheek and huggin even if uv been out for the afternoon and returned. and i hate it.
im not the type of person to hug and kiss ppl, like most girls hug their friends, i was never one of them so its abit of a shock, plus its worst when the room is filled with ppl and they all expect it aswell.
i mentioned it to my husband and he just laughed, but when his mum comes over and she's huggin him and kissin him, even when just sat around i cant contain my laughter.

Well I dont mind a kiss from MIL. My FIL is a bit reserved but MIL always kiss my forehead and I oblige by bending down and presenting my forehead :)
