Being best friends

Re: Being best friends

I have got one dayvirani. so i'll let you know how it is with us. There isnt much of politics to stop us being friendly. I feel we are cordial with each other but not exactly best friends because we are very different individuals .Knowing our differences i donot want to extend congeniality to the level from where turning back would be discourteous since she is my family. So i just keep it to normal chit chat and that appears to work fine for us.

yes i agree , but i have also seen that a person learns to live more peacefully with those that he/she has to encounter on daily basis ... yes they have their share of issues as well but they deal with their issues alot better...I think ..

Re: Being best friends

can someone tell me wat jethani/devrani is in english- i can barely remember all these rishtey in urdu- is it sister in law?

Re: Being best friends

^ jethani - husband's elder brother's wife...so husband's bhabhi.
devrani (some ppl pronounce it derani) - husband's little brother's wife

rishta is known as jethani/derani but they are referred to/called as "bhabhi"
