and ofcourse, you need to forget to move on, but sometimes it takes time after the forgetting to move on.

With the divorce, its never the same. Forgetting the things that happened in the past and then gaining the lost confidence & trust is the hardest thing ever. I don't think that I can ever feel the same way.
Even when one is ready for another relationship, it still can not be on that same level - the past stuff always goes with us. No matter how happy we start feeling.

Just want to get your opinion here. How long would it, or does it take you to completely move on and be able to start a new relationship after breaking up, or even after a divorce? I’m not talking about able to forget the significant other, but about mentally ready to be able to start a new relationship, and not worry about previous heartbreaks, and other effects?

Is it the same thing for those who just breakup with their bf/gf and the divorcees? Or is it different?

Like I always say nothing is pure black or pure white. It all depends on a person/situation and relationship!

depends on how far you have to move back to 'your starting point' to move on. the more deep you travel into a relationship the longer it takes.

It happened to me a long time ago but it was very painful but i eventually got over him...i knew i was over when his existance on this earth didn't matter to me anymore neither did seeing his face bring any tears to my eyes. He was just any other friend. But now if it all ever happened to me again I guess it will really take forever to heal. I know it will change me enitrely.

First of all relationship mean either married or in love
if you were married and got a divorce its very painful for who is left
if its love and get ditched its very painful for the one who gets ditched
so lets define breakup
its usually 1 person starts that both cannot have a dream on day that
tommorrow i am going to leave her or him. And who ever gets dumped
gets the max blow i sure do feel sorry for them :)
