I found this article pretty interesting! Gives a different perspective to the gender ‘difference’ and ‘equality’ that are discussed so often on these boards! Though vividly focused on the western notions of masculinity & feminism!

I think that men in general are denied lots of opportunities to prove themselves and rites of passage which were part of traditional life for eons have been replaced by rites of ownership.

I started to look at what this feeling old really meant and it really was a pine of an emasculation.

Basically, being told they should be safe; they should plan for the future, they should not do dangerous things and this increases as you get older.

We now know that marriage suits men much more than women.

Married men live longer than single women, have less heart disease and mental problems, whereas single women live longer than married women, have less heart disease and mental problems.

As marriage statistics are really low at the moment in the West, lower than Pamela Anderson’s bikini line, I think it’s women who are getting PMT - pre-monogamy tension.

Make yourselves more attractive to us. It’s for your own benefit.

When guys are being treated like items on a shelf, and being beaten, and abused, and raped, and misused, then propose an argument on how bad men have it...

I mean, guys have their problems too, we all do. But girls seem to get the worst of the storm.

but dp also doesnt c any change in the future. DP thinks women will stay in a weaker position for long time.

But dp thinks it is also true, that men who are abused and more such things do not get proper help, cuz peeple tend to think : well its a guy, so hes strong and can take on everything!!!

the only guys i feel sorry for are of the following:

1. guys being molested, or sexually harassed by other men (or women, but that doesn't happen much).

but you know what? I really admire and respect those guys who are out there toiling and sweating to feed and take care of their families. I'm sure most girls agree with me, even though the pro-fems are try to make it seem they dont agree.

and for all of you lazy shmucks, get up off your behind and do something!
