I think you are referring to "bait" or "bayt" .... You will have to give more information in order for people to be able to answer this question. What kind of bayt are you talking about?

If you are talking about the process of becoming mureed of a pir/peer sahab. It is not mandatory/necessary to do so. But it is good to have a mentor (adviser, guide) in religious affairs. In fact it is good to have a mentor in the matters you have less knowledge about , even if you have a lot of knowledge about something but knowledge is never complete , you can always miss-out on some thing.

actually all of my family is mureed of different peers,kissi kay peer egypt sy belong karty hain,,kissi kay peer england meh hain,kohi pak say etc
all of family is in the favour of behat but i m confused.............................
