I'd choose IDK ..because it could be true or false for different cases.

Some people when heart broken tend to completely lose interest from their work and suffer a lot career wise. Others do focus their attention on work and turn into workaholics.

It's more of a passion and liking for the work one has chosen as a job and that's what makes them a workaholic.

People could be workaholics for many reasons.. Not soley because they are heart broken (as your statement suggests)..

It's definitely possible, but not necessarily the case. A person might not have a broken heart, but they may drown themselves in their work...as an escape from other problems in life. I've seen people do that. And I remember a time a few years back where I was going through a tough period and I stayed for a longer time at work...came home later...because that was like an escape for me. There could be other reasons for it as well. Some people may be workaholics because they've placed their job as a top priority over things like family, health, etc. Others might seem like workaholics but maybe they have little choice as they're trying to support their families.

i think its true in many cases.

more than being heart broken, its usually the fact that they havent been desired in life or desired for being a workaholic (go figure)

I became a workoholic when my work became more loveable and important to me than a lot of other stuff in my life.
