Jokes can be completely untrue, made up scenario, not relatedd to a known situation and still be funny.
Blonds are not really more stupid than many brunettes. In fact I have met more smart and upbeat blonds than many brunettes. And I have joked with those brunettes saying, “seriously, did you dye your hair?” 
And rabbits don’t talk or go to store looking for carrots
