That word is not bad in my opinion, but then there are some people who needs a little reason to raise hell. Being a moderator, I have to be extra careful because younger people look up to me and my behavior. If I misbehave, I won't have a leg to stand on to ask others to keep it clean. Anyway, I am glad you can sleep well now.

No, i don't believe in it. It may be true in some cases, but that generalization is just nonsense (in my opinion).
