WOW!! Been a HECTIC week! I have been busy with finals and also directing talk show to present on time for all of you to enjoy. Alhamdullilah, it went well more than I expected. Hats off to all my team. As I said before, I wouldn’t have done without any one of them.

Brilliant performance!! She pulled it off beyond what I was expecting. As I was going thru the ideas about presenting talk show, at a same time she posted in one of my thread and lookin at her post I thought – THIS IS IT!! I WANT HER! Meaning for my host! :-p And lookin’ at ppl’s comments, I am glad that I asked the right person for right role.

PP: Shikra
Hahaha, to be honest I didn’t have the character ‘PP’ in my mind at all. But after asking &passionate, for some reason I thought of shikra. I knew he has performed something somewhere b4 on GS and I knew he wont hesitate to do it either. I asked him and he agreed. By talking to him and other ppl – got the suggestion that shikki can do paindo’s character well and then next thing I know – Shikki became Pakistani Politician! 
I asked him to present me with his demo before I would finalize how he should act for particular character. I must say HE DID THE BEST!! I was literally laughing out loud and my roomie was keep telling me to keep it down …hehehe but I couldn’t.
Shikra – best performance. I learned a lot from you about how to direct n present such show. It was my VERY first time and having u in the team helped me a lot!
Also guys, No he doesn’t sound like that in real life

Phati showed her interest to do something for audio forum but since I was coming up with idea of talk show, thought of asking her to join in. For her, again I didn’t have the character in mind at first but talking to her later I thought – LET HER BE HERSELF!! She didn’t need much acting to do – she was natural. MashaAllah at this age she can DOO SOOOO MUCH!! Looking at her then decided to name her ABCD and guess what – she came up with her own dialogues 
and also finalize the audio as I wanted. SUPERB JOB PHATTI!!

I had this song in my mind –* “Jadou houli jayee lainda mera naa’”* by Noor Jehan and I wanted someone in the show who could sing that song without any hesitation, b/c if someone even give me million dollars to sing that in show online – I would never do it. Having song in mind, I thought Khummi will play it off way better than anyone else b/c she is not shy at all to do anything anytime

Did you even guess that it was the SAME PERSON!! I bet u all didn’t! He was my backbone for this show. He helped me out a lot in writing script. All I had to do was present the idea and next thing I know – HHL have it done! MashaAllah, very very patience guy and best to work with. He has many more ideas for the future – stay tune for it guys
HHL - All the respect to u! You did a lot behind the scene as well on the scene. Pulling off two characters at a time and making them talk to each other – BRAVO!!
At the end thanx again to my lovely lovely team – you al made me proud. I am really happy as how everything turned out to be and how everyone enjoyed it.

**As for me – **This was the beginning. My very first production and direction on the Gupshup. It was difficult in the beginning b/c we didn’t have enough time and plus all of us were bz in many other things – but again WE DID IT!! I will inshaAllah present something along the same line again sooner or later in the audio forum
