SAN FRANCISCO – An aspiring politician and video game designer who faked his own beheading by Iraqi militants awoke Saturday to learn that television stations around the world were showing his homemade video of the gruesome hoax.
Benjamin Vanderford, 22, said he posted the 55-second clip, which shows a knife sawing against his neck, on an online file-sharing network in May. It circulated in cyberspace before crossing over to major media, airing on Arab television.
“It was part of a stunt, but no one noticed it up until now,” Vanderford told The Associated Press after being awoken at his San Francisco apartment early Saturday and informed that much of the world was suddenly under the impression he had been decapitated.
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents interviewed Vanderford Saturday morning and an investigation has been opened, said FBI spokeswoman LaRae Quy. She said the agency initially became involved while trying to verify whether anyone had, in fact, been beheaded.

Since ,,these killers got too much absuses from muslim ummah ;specially from Pakistan and other people in Iraq.
They have realized, that this behaviour is going to give them a bad name, so they took an about turn for the time being; but as we all know nature never changes, possibly they would start again.
Therefore they did this show. It is not difficult. You can buy many more european for this kind of acting; but all the previous ones were true.
This is what they believe in, that killing with aLLAH hou Akbar is no sin. It is like giving them shahadat. I do not know, then what are they amount for?

(Sura 47, Verse 4)
Do you believe our innocent pakistanis and turkish and other, many more to whom they are killing for not after 9/11 but even before, are all non muslims.
I believe it is islamic pollution that has infilterated in their brains and souls.
And now it is very difficult for them to understand their mistakes.
This is how people go astray from their rightful path unknowingly and shetan takes over and they think they are doing all this for a religious cause.
We all must pray for our those muslim brothers; that shatan should leave them alone.
They could have fought and enter into the war face to face .
