how do you act around each other in front of family/in laws?
In front of my in laws, mine acts like he’d rather I didn’t exist.

I think in the first 2 or 3 days of the arranged marriage Mr Halwa kind of shy of acknowledging my presence in front of his ma n pa. But then he got used to it and now we behave as we usually do except for the fact that when we are there he looks out for me more.

Just like partners/friends, include each other in conversation, recall events and tease each other. E.g oh you remember the time when we did this...if there's dinner involved or something i tend to put food in for hubby/make tea..
but also not stuck to each other like glue, and give time and socialise with the rest of the family a lot.

i act like an obedient wife infront of my inlaws.
we are normal in front of in laws, have to admit i much more behaved in front of his parents though......

Him and I are usually joking and making funny conversations ... and we include everyone around us in it ... I like to stay a bit formal when the inlaws or husbands of any of my SIL's are there ...

Umm im not married yet but have been engaged for over 2 years now M'A and whenever my in laws come from pk Im totally normal I act myself but try to be helpful in anyway possible! I think that is maybe there relatives and ive literally grown up and played with the family!

My wife opens her complain box in front of my parents and they support her on most of the points... huh talk about mom love their kids...apney maa baap hee apna saath nahee daitey tu banda kis ko kia kahey :(
she does that most when I am around. "ammi daikheeen zara how much weight he is gaining" ... "ammi INNN zara khayaal nahee k bachoon ko zara activity karaney lai jaee after hours" ... and ammi takes her side on all this .... NO FAIR :(
