I have the choice of eating out or making chicken makhani. I have Shan chicken makhani packet and all other ingredients.
I do not feel like driving down to Pakistan Kabab House out of laziness.
Any tips for making most sumptuous , most delicious , finger licking good chicken makhani ?
i’ve never had a taste for that dish. turns my stomach for some reason. or maybe i should say i’ve never had a good chicken makhni? im more of a chicken karahi kinda girl:yummy:
just follow the instruction mirchi uncle, u'll do fine... i made it for someone last year and it was just delish!
Yup , I followed the instructions, it turned out so good. The kids loved it , it is the ultimate test.
I substituted the cream with the thick Qashta cream which is sold at Arab grocery stores. It enhanced the taste.
Normally it goes well with chicken breasts but you can use full chicken !
tablespoons butter or you can use peanut oil
shallots, sliced in thin strips
lemon juice
ginger, garlic, garam masala , chili powder , ground cumin ( Hasbay Zaiqa )
1 bay leaf
a bit of plain yogurt and cream
tomato sauce / or use 3 to 4 tomatoes
hot paprika , salt and pepper (up to taste)
fresh coriander
Go and check if you have them in kitchen , if ya do , we will move to the cooking part then :D
Please do share that recipe. Normally I make it with boneless chicken but recently i made it with full chicken..i didn't like it. even though it tasted hte same, i just didn't like it as much as when i use boneless.
