I’ve just had an epiphany of sorts…and it’s like…I wish I could convey it to you guys, but my brain is still processing. but let me try.
Have any of you ever read up on the origins of Islam and Muhammad? and compilation of the quran?

Re: Beginnings of Islam
Let it get more mature before you put it out there.
Again we are going to disappoint you by telling YES
We have read great details about Muhammad(saw) life.
We have read quite a bit of quran compilation.
To disappointing you more, I have read, Watch the best of the bestest, anti islamic scholars.
Making theory about Muhammad(saw) and quran.
Now I still expect you continue insisting you point , even before you know what it is, exactly.
If you are non muslim, you are just starting this ugly path.. long way to go ![]()
If you are muslim, you are not the first one we losing to superficial youtube videos.
If you find any of us credible, ask “where can i learn about this or that aspect of Muhammad(saw) life”
or “where could I learn about quran”
All the crap you are going to come up with for next 10 years, has its answer already on answering-Christianity.org
Good Luck!!

if not for yourself then for the sake of the readers i would appreciate if you put "saws" or "pbuh] after our beloved prophet's name...as a Muslim, it's obligatory upon all of us to do that.
Re: Beginnings of Islam
^ or you can say it in your head ? Duh.
Re: Beginnings of Islam
what has this to do with science and nature?
Re: Beginnings of Islam
I think probably scientific rebuttals to the claims of prophethood and divinity of the message?? I am just guessing though.
Re: Beginnings of Islam
Correction Phuls-sifatain Mohammad PBUH was not the one who started Islam...** Baba Adam PBUH was the first Prophet of Islam!**
Re: Beginnings of Islam
Where does my post say that the prophet started it?
Re: Beginnings of Islam
Origin implies Originator!
Re: Beginnings of Islam
Origins
prophethood
two different topics that may be interrelated
Re: Beginnings of Islam
Arli's thread at least mentioned science in the title. Though religion could not be omitted entirely from his thread, it sought a connection with science. Until OP doesn't exactly specify how her epiphany connects science with the origins of Islam and the Prophet SAWS and the compilation of the Quran, I think the Religion forum would be a more apt platform for the thread.
After all, since OP has broached such deep and intricate topics pertaining specifically to Islam, the religion forum can give both her and this thread the full and thorough attention they deserve.

I believe OP has met the condition set

when you are reading, yiu don'tsay things in your head and you force people to skip saying "pbuh".
btw, aren't you a Muslims? if you are, why are you so adamant about NOT saying it intentionally?i think it's disrespectful for a Muslim not to say "pbuh" intentionally!

Not trying to argue with you KKF. However, when those of us who are Muslims, read the Prophet 's (SAWS) name in an article ....maybe written by a non-Muslim....in our minds we will say SAWS.
She's not a bachi. More than likely her parents are Muslims and at some point, or even various points during her life, she had learned (or was told) to say PBUH/SAWS after the zikar of the Prophet SAWS. So, she is well aware, but she simply doesn't care. Her refusal to say this does not diminish the shaan and status of the Prophet SAWS. So it's not right to guilt or pressure her into it.
Even with one who believes in Islam, we're supposed to remind them gently if they forget or are unaware. What makes you so certain, KKF, that she believes herself to be Muslim? If she doesn't believe in Islam, then don't push her. The Prophet SAWS himself was calm and kind to those disrespected him. He SAWS does not need respect that is forced. So, leave her be. As long as she's not speaking disrespectfully about him SAWS...while being fully aware that majority of members here are Muslim....yeh hi aik bahut bari baat hogi.
