Beginning of Ramadan

:salam2:

Hilāl (the crescent) is typically a day (or more) after the astronomical new moon. Since the new moon marks the beginning of the new month, Muslims can usually safely estimate the beginning of Ramadan. However, to many Muslims, this is not in accordance with authenticated Hadiths stating that visual confirmation per region is recommended. The consistent variations of a day have existed since the time of Prophet PBUH.

Re: Beginning of Ramadan

The month of Ramadan traditionally begins with a new moon shining, and also marking the *start *of the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. Ramadan is the holy month of the year in the Muslim calendar, in this month the Muslims stop eating, drinking and pays their prayers sex time instead of five included in Tahajud and also busy in Ibadat from the dawn until the sunset. It's also the month when the Muslims pray more hoping getting more benedictions and being closer to Allah. So I want to say just one thing the month of Ramadan is the blessing of God. So it’s our first duty we must keep fast regularly in month of Ramadan.
