Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

Re: Beginner’s guide to bodybuilding.

I don’t, really. I am so far behind, I get to know about these things via either word-to-mouth or magazines, and then research follows after. I did not even look at the ingredients of this product I am researching, sheesh. Thanks for letting me know.

I just tried what you suggested above, protein shake mixed with an egg and a banana. It does not taste half as bad, although after drinking it, I am smelling more like a banana than anything else.

For dumbbells, I am just catching up to you (55) and cricketplaya (20). : D

Keep this thread updated, good to see it is still going strong.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

hello frozen fire...now i m 72 kgs....can u please tell me how many eggs should i eat throughout d day?? right now i eat 4 boiled eggs ...after my training..

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

Hey fighter bro. Hope you are all good. Congrats on being 72kgs. although, I dont quite remember what your goal was. Anyhow, If gaining more weight is what you are aiming for then i suppose 4 boiled eggs shouldnt be a problem. What is it exactly that you want to do? Are you simply just gaining the weight or are you seeing your body developing too?

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

If you're into body building, then would it not ber better to consume the raw form of eggs, rather than to boil them??

The process of cooking eggs destroy the very goodness that our bodies so desperately need as the nature of proteins and fats is altered when exposed to heat. When cooked, the egg protein changes its chemical shape; it is often this process that can be the cause of allergies. Generally when eating raw eggs, any incidence of egg allergy will disappear.

Regularly consuming raw eggs will benefit your health as the raw egg yolk and white helps your body eliminate stored toxins. Body builder's have long known that a great way to build healthy muscle without the extra fat is to eat raw eggs regularly.

When you cook animal proteins, eggs, milk, meat, and so on, it changes the structure of the proteins. This is not to say that all cooked animal proteins are unhealthy, but that when we do not cook the animal proteins, they many times are even healthier. Consuming eggs raw means that vital enzymes and nutrients are left intact.

Eating too many egg whites can cause a biotin deficiency. Eating the yolks only, or the biotin rich yolks with the whites will prevent this problem.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

eating raw eggs = chance of getting salmonella or some other crazy disease. Always cook them before consuming.

Fighter 26... you should have fast digesting proteins and sugars after your workout. This is because you need to get fuel to your muscles as fast as possible. Eating eggs will slow down the process since your body will have to break them down. Whey + two small potatoes ( or two slices of white bread with jelly) will be an excellent example.

Eat the eggs in the morning. 3 to 4 whole + 3 to 4 egg whites will do the trick.

If you are trying to go lean then reduce whole eggs to 2 and increase the eggs whites a bit.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

yeah wid weight i m packing up muscles too...but people telling me to eat protein per pound of body weight.. i m 154 pounds dat means 154 gms proteins...to meet my protiens requirements what i can do is just dat i m depending only on home foods like milk(1 - 1 1/2 litrs), curd,eggs(4) , and others here available...well my goal still is mass and size gain , i m not advanced...after gaining size i will start cutting down n fat loss..

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

what about abs guys?? what type of diet fixes there?? i know dat i requires low carbs n fat..but i m on size gain also..should i cut my fat n carbs?? i m fearing dat it will effect my muscle gains.....i do 4 sets of decline crunches( reps 20 - 25) and leg raises 3 sets ( reps 15-20). side twists ( 100 reps , 50 each side)...is dis sufficient??? ..i allow only quality fats like those from dry fruits walnuts , cashews , almonds.....

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

anyways guys thanx for all ur support here........

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

Are those the only exercises you do ?

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

yeah..but on different benches like plane , decline. roman chairs etc..

ah i just read your earlier post .. I thought you werent lifting any weights. Well keep up the hard work, if you notice a decrease in strength .. reps, then increase protein intake and crab intake by a bit e.t.c

You can cut fat, but take in good fats e.g fishoil, flaxseed oil e.t.c

Eat slow digesting carbs and eat up two baked potatoes with your protein shake after your work out.

I have just purchased a pack of trip2night from narcomundo(dot com). I paid around 30 dollars and the shipping was free. I emailed them to see how long it will take to get to me, but they have not emailed me back yet. The first week end night I get it I will try it and let you know if I like it or not. I will concentrate more on the things I do not like since the web sites selling it are promoting it enough and that is not my job. My job is to let the world know if there are any areas I do not like. I will get back to this after I try it.

very useful guide
