Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

It is widely available in GNC stores. They usually have samples of their products, see if you are able to sample this product first before buying it.

Is there a product by BSN that is only protein shake specific (with less fat as similar other products)? Their products are usually great for results, on another note.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

Ok, I'm about to start Nitrix too..can anyone explain me the cycles? I have heard ppl advicing 2x4 Tabs the first 10 days after that you continue with 3x3 and what If your stock of 180 end up in 30 days. Do I need discontinue for a month?

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

if you weigh less than 200lbs than the recommended dosage is to take 3 tablets 3 times a day .. before breakfast, before lunch and before dinner..on an empty stomach.. for a week.. once the loading phase is done.. continue with the maintenance phase and skip nitrix completely 2/3 days a week.. If you're taking in any product that contains ephedrine stop it, it will diminish the effect of nitrix.

Any supplement you take is not forever. Once you see the result you want you can discontinue from there on. Whatever you would have gained will stay with you, provided that your diet is way better than before.. in order to keep the results.

Hope this helps. If you have any further question or anything i said above doesnt make sense to you.. feel free to write back.. and ill try to explain you with the best of my knowledge.

ps: sorry for the late reply by the way.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

THank frozenfire!
Your advice is something new to me. I have heard people on other forums insisting in taking nitrix for 1 month! Is this wrong? And what do you mean by "to skip nitrix completely 2/3 days a week". Does It mean I should only take 3 days a week? Actually I'm in my building phase not maintenance. Nitrix is something new to me thats why I need some experienced advices.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

hmm...who says to take nitrix for the whole month?.. and how many tablets a day do they recommend? .. just curious..

what im saying is not something that im making up.. i read on this stuff from some different sources and all of them suggest to take it for a week and then after that..take 4/5 days a week with the same amount of pills you're taking..

I must be the last person you should be asking about this..cuz i just took this stuff for sometime and the moment i see the result i wanted..i stopped it right there.. and the way i saw those results is the way i mentioned above..

ps: plz let me know who says to take nitrix for the whole month with the same amount of pills everyday?

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

doing weight training on consecutive days on the same muscles is not advisable as your muscles need to recover and "grow"

Instead do alternate muscles on consecutive days, ie easiest way is:

Day 1: lowerbody; thighs, calfs (squats, crunches)
Day 2: upper body; chest, shoulders, arms, (bench press, curls, pull ups)
Day 3: Aerobic(for fat weight loss) Cycling, walking, streching, yoga

This will give your mucles time to regrow. Never train a mucle that hurts from previous workouts, as this means its still repairing.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

actually that depends, there are some workout techniques that require consecutive days of weight training. You just need to know what you are doing.

In my opinion, upper body needs at least 2 days and not just 1.. u cant and should not do all of ur upper body exercises in 1 day as its almost impossible, unless u wanna spend 2+ hours at gym.. and plus..its not advisable anyway..

day 1 for upper body should have chest and tricep
day 2 shud be back (upper , lower) and bicep
day 3 shud be shoulder (all parts).. , traps... though, day 3 is optional ..since ur shoulder and traps get workout when you do ur chest and back.. but its up to you

Yes you're right one shudnt do the same body part on consecutive days, but then again.. its your body and u know how it works.. everyone has their own technique of building.. theres no one rule for everythin in the field of bodybuilding. Something that works for u may not work for another person. Therefore; your advice to him for not hitting the same muscle on the following day will be wrong..

Ali_R, since you are starting on Nitrix, 2x4 and 3x3 is a safe bet. Start out low and take Nitrix on the days that you work out would be my opinion. Unless you work out all week, it will generally be the days when you work out, although different opinions vary, you could take it everyday and supplement it with considerable amount of protein shake. Follow the directions, you will be fine.

On the subject of taking Nitrix for a month, yes, generally, it is true in some cases. But it depends on what bottle you are taking. A bottle of 180 is roughly for a month. I had written above that I had started just a few weeks prior on a 402-tab bottle. It is always advisable to discontinue such things and not be attached to it on a long-term basis, your body gets used to it and you don't see satisfactory results.

FrozenFire, good information as always.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

i have never read or heard anyone ever say they train on same the muscle on consecutive days....

unless your talking about those "illegal methods". The steroids help you recovery from training alot faster and so maybe you could train on consecutive days

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

I hate protein shakes..they taste gross..one I can stand is Isopure...0 carbs.

There are some training routines where u "prep" the muscle a day before u work it out. Again if you dont know what you are doing it wont work.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

Frozenfire and Dhobhi Bhai,
THank you for your suggestions. I believe I misunderstood you FF, I thought you meant to say to take a different dose of tabs for a week and after that quit to 4-5 days a week 2x4. So It was a misunderstanding by me. I hard you mentioned your veins are more visible. I lag of that vein phenomena, I guess Its also due to my higher water % in my body.

Dhobhi Bhai, I'm taking them before I really started with the exercise.
I take them even when I do "cardio stuff" like tennis, football (soccer) or squash. Is It adviceable? I feel like I have lost 2 kgs since I do more cardio and well I hardly put on fat while taking Nitrix.
I will keep on taking It for the next 10 days. I feel no side effects, on the contrary I feel great with nitrix and I noticed more hardness in my biceps. It's great!
I have also started drinking 3 l a day.

If you want taste, go for ULTIMATE NUTRATION SHAKES AND BSN.

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

I have been going to the gym for the past few months about 3-4 days a week and I don't take protein supplements etc.
I am 5ft 10 inches tall and weigh 190lbs and am built like a wrestler or a big kabaddi player.
I can't seem to get ripped but seem to be getting bigger and stronger. Am I doomed by punjabi genetics to have a punjabi phelwan body??

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

No you just need to start eating lean. That is the whole point of protein shakes. You get in the maximum amount of fast digesting protein without the fat. Eat lean and do the right amount of cardio and youll be fine. Start reading up on nutrition.

How often are you taking protein shakes, are you also taking them during the cardio days or high-activity days that you stated? If you are taking protein shakes, then yes, by all means, maximize the strength and give your muscles a boost by Nitrix. Others might advise to take it only during weight-training days, and that is also a recommended advice. Get in the habit of drinking protein shakes everyday, however much you usually drink it, and take Nitrix also during those days (but no Nitrix on the days when you don't weight-train or when you not drink your protein. It will be wasted).

I am glad you are feeling great, it is supposed to give you hardness in your biceps and a pop in veins. You will feel it especially on your upper-body workout days. Great to know it is working out well for you.

When do you eat your next snack/meal after you take the 3 pills? Are you following 3x3 routine, or a different routine, since you are in the building phase?

Re: Beginner's guide to bodybuilding.

For some reason i have stopped working my lower body for the past 1 month.. i dont know.. i just dont feel like hitting my quadriceps and calves at gym... plz tell me wat are some of the negative effects i can have if i continue to neglect the lower body and focus all on my upper body?.. if any effect at all? apart from not having a symmetric body?..anything else?

Great to know nitrix is working out well for you... just leave whatever i said. As long as the way u're using nitrix and is working out good for you, that's all that matters.. and yea, nitrix is suppose to give u the vascularity..or atleast that was the case when i used it.

ok u wana start exercising and be fit?

1- golden rule. stop jerking off. not gna take u anywhere.

2- get off all thoz mscle mass and n.o crap. eat healthy and more. want protien? drink alota juice and milk and different fruit shakes.

3- doing same exercises through out the weeks would make ur body stiff so do some aerobics or preferable some kind of martial arts. or punching bag

4- work out with easy weights. make sure u can do atleast 8 reps urself.

5- do a power lift once a week. do heavy weights. a lil more then wat u do everyday and dnt kill urself

6- if ur still thinking abt jacking off for the last time tonight DNT DO IT. it makes ur legs weak.

now get off gs and hit the gym already.
