Most Excellento, well written article Khan Sahib…Bravo. Really like the piece on oil prices, this commodity is getting costlier by the day, making emerging economies like sitting ducks waiting to be blasted away with spiralling inflation. Already inflation is running in double digits in Pakistan and the State Bank of Pakistan has been slow to respond because of its erroneous pursuite of high growth policy.

What is the solution? It cannot be that difficult for people to identify the problem and then put in place a comprehensive strategy to change course. Or, is there no hope? One sometimes does feel absolute despondancy, but this country keeps on ticking keeping our hopes alive.
