MashaAllah...well my wedding is set for July and I have cold feet no wait let me make that freezing feet lol I feel like everything is happening too fast but I have faith in Allah (SWT) so lets see what happens :-)

You know what, i'm paraphrasing what someone else just said in another blog: a small simple wedding to the right person is a milion times better than a big fancy lavish wedding to the wrong person.

When I imagine signing THE papers in 5 weeks, inshaAllah, I feel like I am going to panic. But then I think of the man I am marrying and it’s enough to make me feel at the top of the world.

I was relaxed and calm, although was marrying to a person never known before, not even her official name.
but alhamdolilah turned out very nice.

I was so excited and happy, didnt feel stressed or nervous at all thankfully. Was much more nervous on my engagement than I was on my wedding

We were only engaged for about a month before we got married. ( it was an arranged marriage). I was realllllly scared and there was a point when i had second thoughts about the whole thing becuz we only went out to lunch a couple of times just to get to know one another a lil bit and we're both the shy quiet type so it was kinda akward...
but now as i look back (its been almost 4 yrs now) im glad i didnt back out. In our case love came after marriage.

Im getting married in 7 weeks inshAllah, I am looking forward to it. I am having an arranged married in the sense that Hubs to be came to my house the traditional way and then we got to know each other for 3 months and got engaged.
It has gone really well alhamdulillah, we have known each other for a total of 8 months which is nothing if you think about it and still so much to discover about each other. Now im feeling content, like I am gonna be complete. So very cheesy but a nice feeling. It's not like OMG i'm head over heels and I can't breathe without you kinda thing, (yet) LOL It's sweet innocent and loveable. . we both fancy each other like mad and we spend ages chatting and stuff. . we get on very well but there is still a lot of shyness that of course we will overcome after the limits can be crossed :-) I'll let you know what happens after LOL

Shaitaani and DesiGirl786 - wow - you are getting married soon, so good luck with that - do tell us how it all went, and maybe tell us how you feel as the wedding date looms closer and closer, do you start getting more nervous? or more excited? or just emotional? Would be nice if you shared your experiences, maybe every two weeks time so people can read what its like as time draws closer for the 'big day' - bet you have soo much to do! so when is your wedding day? and are you having a walima too? i pray it all goes well for you both and also good luck to all the people getting married this year (Ameen).
